The Keta Ramsar Centre is a registered environmental Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Anyanui, in Ghana’s Volta Region. Established in 2014, the Centre was created in response to the alarming rise in poaching and environmental degradation.
Our mission is to safeguard Ghana’s tourism and fishing industries by protecting sea turtles, mangroves, manatees, and other aquatic species, along with their habitats within and around the Keta Lagoon Complex Ramsar Site.
Through conservation, education, and community engagement, we work to ensure the long-term sustainability of our natural resources for future generations.
